Please Stand By...ShenLUG is experiencing some difficulties. We will be back on regular schedule soon!
Next Meeting is Tuesday, June 14, 2008
What do we do!? Well, we discuss topics mainly related to Linux and Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). But sometimes we will discuss technology in general. We always have fun, and are enthusiastic about Linux. If you have never heard of Linux, you have come to the right place. If you are a Linux enthusiast, then you, too, have come to the right place. We are just a bunch of people who compliment each other with respect to our skills and abilities with the Linux OS and related tools and applications. On the email list and in our meetings, we help each other with direct and indirect problem resolution. 'Newbies' (those who are new to Linux and FOSS) are welcome, as the term won't apply long. :) We simply like the idea of having a choice. If you would like to explore the alternatives, try the choice of the GNU generation... Linux! We are working on plans for our upcoming events, and will post them as soon as we can hammer them out. Right now we are working out our calendar for the remainder of the year. Some of our planned projects include:
Note that there are no costs associated with membership, and you don't have to attend the meetings to be part of the email list. However, we will be participating in some interesting discussions and having some rather notable speakers, so we hope to see you at the next ShenLUG meeting! | |||||||
